Z-News: Concatenations, our long-delayed second CD, is complete! For info, click here... We are joined on several tracks by a number of guests. Sundog's Chip Epsten contribute's violin on one track, and flautist Beth Heidelburg joins on another track. A number of tracks feature one-time Z-Axis collaborator Harold Timms on guitar, lap steel, & sitar. Concatentions includes a few video clips, including three songs from our 2004 Roguefest performance. A rotating selction of tracks are availble for download on our MySpace page... Initially formed in 1997 to perform the music for the multi-media production Reality Check, Z-Axis soon discovered a unique chemistry and decided to use the band as a vehicle to push the frontiers of their own musical expressions. Their music ranges from structured suites to extended improvisations. They are primarilly instrumental though they have been known to sneak in a vocal piece from time to time.
